CIDAH — Technologies & Solutions

Cookie Policy

What cookies and similar storage this site uses, why, and how you control them.

Last updated: 11/07/2026Draft — pending counsel review

1. What cookies and similar storage are

Cookies are small files placed on your device by websites you visit. Similar technologies — such as sessionStorage and localStorage — store information in your browser. This site uses a deliberately minimal first-party set for consent and anonymous CIDAH Groove tour progress; Groove never stores names, questions or answers in browser storage.

2. Categories we use

  • Necessary — the consent record itself and basic security/session needs. Always on and not toggleable.
  • Analytics / optional storage — no analytics tool is currently deployed. The optional choice also controls whether anonymous CIDAH Groove tour progress may be remembered for a return visit for up to 30 days.
  • Embeds / third-party media — YouTube video embeds (used on limited pages). Off by default; loaded only after your consent and an explicit click to play.

3. Inventory

The table below is generated from the site's consent configuration so that the policy and the code cannot drift. YouTube/Google items are set only after you click play on an embedded video; we use YouTube's privacy-enhanced host (youtube-nocookie.com), which reduces but does not eliminate Google storage once playback starts.

4. How to change your choices

Use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page to reopen the preferences dialog and change or withdraw your choices at any time. You can also delete or block cookies and site data through your browser settings; doing so will cause the consent prompt to appear again.

5. Region-specific notes

  • EU/UK visitors: non-necessary cookies and third-party embeds load only after your prior opt-in consent, and rejecting is as easy as accepting.
  • US visitors: we operate on a notice basis; if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor it as an opt-out of analytics and embeds. {{GPC_SCOPE_DECISION}}
  • Israel visitors: we provide clear notice of processing in line with the Privacy Protection Law and its Amendment 13 notice duties; embeds still load only after an explicit click.
